God Will Change Your Life

Ministry Purpose:
The God Will Change Your Life Ministry was founded in 1992 at Shiloh Baptist Church.  It was birthed out of the need for Christian men and women, recovering from addiction, to fellowship, share and support one another.

The purpose of the ministry is to carry the message of hope through Jesus Christ to others struggling with addition.

Ministry Vision:
GWCYL is a support group for recovering alcoholics and addicts.  We share our experience, strength and hope with one another to help solve our common problem and to enhance our personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  We use God’s Word and the Christian Twelve Steps of Recovery, believing that Scripture and the Twelve Steps are important healing tools.  If we regularly apply these tools to our lives, we open ourselves to God’s healing love and grace.

Our Objective:
God Will Change Your Life is committed to:
--Providing a safe place (free from drugs and alcohol) for those seeking recovery from the disease of addiction.
--Carry the message of Christ and the program of recovery to the addict and alcoholic who is still suffering from the disease of addiction or trying to maintain their recovery.
--Be a resource for those seeking help from the disease of addiction.
